Metrics, benchmarking and road map for cairn's CSR projects

Abstract

CSR is a major focus area for Cairn. Cairn has initiated several projects to improve the lives of the local community in the areas where they operate. The effectiveness of these projects is regularly monitored by Cairn. The goal of this internship project is to develop metrics to track the effectiveness of these CSR projects and suggest improvements for the future. Cairn has CSR operations in Rajasthan, Gujarat and Andhra Pradesh, but this project focuses on the activities in Barmer, Rajasthan. This project was conducted under the supervision of Mr. Sidharth Balakrishna, Strategist – BTG and Mr. Khurram Naayaab, Manager – CSR and mentored by Mr. Nilesh Jain, Leader – BTG.
