According to Mother Meera, the chanting or repetition of the name of God (otherwise known as japam) is the most effective way of developing our inner connection to God. Japam is heartfelt repetition of any one of the many names of God that must be pursued consistently. Remembrance of the divine name is a powerful means of establishing that connection.
